Vanilla custard recipe

Total prep time: 30 minutes       servings: 2


600 ml: milk

89 g: sugar

2 crushed cardamom

35 g/1.2 oz: vanilla powder

½ cup cream

½ cup dry nuts


Pour 500 ml milk, sugar and cardamom in a saucepan let it boil.

Meanwhile in a bowl the remaining 100 ml whisk the vanilla custard powder.

When the 500 ml milk gets to boil on a low heat add the bowl mix into saucepan whisk it continuously for 4 minutes or until thick.

Let the custard cool down then serve in glasses or bowls with cream n dry nuts.
