Cof Rest

Cof Rest is a cough syrup manufactured by W.WOODWARDS (PVT.) Ltd.

It reduces congestion and relieves bronchospasm. This syrup provides relief to the common cold, coughing, sneezing, hay fever, and upper respiratory allergies.

Usage:

It reduces congestion of the respiratory tract. Improves alveolar ventilation and helps to breathe easily. It enhances the mucociliary function. It relieves cough and bronchospasm.

Decreases microvascular permeability. Facilitates expectoration of secretions from bronchial airways. Provide a soothing effect on the respiratory tract and on the irritated throat membrane.

Apart from all this, it is also believed that Cof Rest syrup is used to relieve pain in arthritis, pain in tendons, and pain in shoulder joints and to some extent, it also works to reduce body fat.

Composition:

Each 5ml contains:

Theophylline B.P 32mg

Diphenhydramine B.P. 8mg

Ammonium Chloride B.P. 30mg

Menthol B.P. 0.98mg

The product complies W. Woodward specifications.

Dosage:

Adults: 1 to 2 tablespoon

Children:

7 to 12 years: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon

2 to 6 years: 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon

To be taken every day 2-4 hours or as prescribed by a physician. Sooths most of the viral cough and sneezing problems.

Side effects:

Side effects may include seizures, insomnia, headache, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, restlessness, and excitability in children.

Cautions:
