Maxima (Cefixime) Capsule is a third-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic medicine prescribed for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections.
It is also used for lower respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, otitis media, cystitis, uncomplicated pyelonephritis, cystourethritis, and urinary tract infections.
Maxima Capsule contains Cefixime which is related to a group of medicines commonly known as cephalosporin antibiotics. It is very useful and effective in stopping the growth of bacteria.
It will not effective for viral infections like common flu or cold, it’s just effective against bacterial infections.
Package contains: Each pack of Maxima contains 5 capsules of 400mg.
Each capsule contains:
Cefixime trihydrate USP equivalent to Cefixime 400mg

Some side-effects may be caused by this medicine, but they are rare. Common side-effects are;
