Onato (Amlodipine Besylate) (USP Specs) tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as calcium channel blockers. It shows effectiveness by relaxing blood vessels and making blood flow easier.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

Amlodipine Besylate Ph. Eur. Equivalent to Amlodipine 10mg

Dosage:

As directed by the physician. For oral use only. For Children: not recommended.

Uses:

It is used for the treatment of hypertension. It is also used to prevent certain types of chest pain (angina).

Precautions:

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver disease, thyroid problems.

This drug may pose risks to your pregnancy, therefore please do not take this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

It should be used in caution if the patient has an electrolyte imbalance (such as high or low potassium levels in your blood). Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it.

Side effects:

Inflammation of the nose and throat, Dizziness, Nausea, or stomach pain, Swelling of the feet, ankles and lower legs.

Instructions:

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid Exposure to heat, light and humidity. Store below 15 to 30°C. Improper storage may deteriorate the medicine.
