    Respro-Sr (Theophylline SR Capsules U.S.P) capsule is used for Wheezing, Shortness of breath, Chest tightness, Interruption of breathing in newborns, and other conditions. It may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

    Uses:

    The respro-Sr capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions, and symptoms:

    • Wheezing.
    • Shortness of breath.
    • Chest tightness.
    • Interruption of breathing in newborns.

    Package Contains: Each Package Respro-Sr Contains 30 Capsules of 200 mg.

    Composition:

    Respro-SR

    Each Capsule contains:

    Anhydrous Theophylline Ph. Eur 200 mg.

    Dosage: As directed by the physician or see package insert. Usual Doses up to 13 mg/kg/ 24 hours, in two divided doses.

    Missed dose:

    • Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
    • Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.
    • Do not take extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.

    Precaution: Before taking this medicine tell your doctor if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. 

    Major and Minor side effects of Respro Sr capsule:

    Respro-SR back
    • Nausea.
    • Vomiting.
    • Stomach/abdominal pain.
    • Headache.
    • Trouble sleeping.
    • Diarrhea.

    If you experience any side effects that persist or worsen or any unusual symptoms, contact your doctor immediately.

     Instructions:            

    • For oral use only
    • Do not stop taking your medicine.
    • To be sold on the prescription of registered medical practitioners only. (For further information please see enclosed leaflet.)

    Storage: Store below 30°C. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
