    Russia Ukraine Conflict

Russia Ukraine Conflict started on February 24, 2022. Russian forces entered Ukraine, firing missiles at cities and military targets. They invade Ukraine on three fronts: land, air, and sea. The people of Ukraine are very frightened, and they have hidden in an underground shelter.

The Ukraine President urged civilians to join him in defense. Some of the Ukrainian people are ready to take part in the war, and they said goodbye to their families, saying, “We don’t know whether we will meet again or not.”

    Russia Ukraine Conflict

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he would be conducting “special military operations” in eastern Ukraine. And if anyone tried to interfere would lead to consequences you have never seen in history.

Putin further claims that Ukraine’s army has laid down its arms. While Ukraine’s leader Volodymyr Zelensky said to their civilians, “we will defend against evil action embarked by Russia.”

Ukraine’s army said they had killed more than 1000 Russian troops and shot down 6 aircraft. While according to reports, dozens of people have been killed, over 40 soldiers have died, and many more were wounded in Ukraine’s Capita Kyiv.

    Which Places has Russia Targeted?

According to Mr. Zelensky (Ukraine leader), Russia had deployed 200,000 troops and thousands of vehicles on Ukraine’s border. Moscow (Russia’s capital) first attacked Ukraine’s military infrastructure. Then the Russian military crossed the border near Kharkiv in the north, Luhansk in the east, and Crimea in the south.

Later several tanks were spotted in Kharkiv (Ukraine, the second-largest city comprising 1.4 million people). It is also reported that Russian forces landed by sea at Odesa on the black sea and Mariupol on the internal sea of Azow of Ukraine. The battle appeared to be largely centered in the east.

    Background of Russia Ukraine Conflict:

The Russian President has recently recognized the independence of Donetsk and Luhansk in eastern Ukraine. In 2014 Russia had invaded Crimea. At that time, Russian rebels seized all breakaway regions.

More than 14,000 people had died in the rebels and Ukraine Conflict. Despite a tenuous ceasefire, there have been an increasing number of violations lately. Russian President Putin claims that the main purpose of this attack is to defend the people in the breakaway regions.

Russia is the world’s biggest energy producer, and Ukraine is the top grain exporter. If this Russia Ukraine Conflict continues, there would be a chance of greater destruction of economics worldwide.
