“Physical exercise a day keeps the diseases at bay.”

As we all know that amidst this pandemic most of the employees around the world started working from home. Even, after the quarantine, many companies have allowed their employees to permanently work remotely.

    This trend has definitely brought a new set of changes to our lifestyle. How can I say this. because I’m a blogger and working from home as well. Therefore, I’ve witnessed the following changes in my life;

    •  While working from home, there is no such thing as “specific working hours” because you have to work regardless of what’s going on with the clock.
    • Sometimes, there is no weekend (when you’re a freelancer, blogger, vlogger, or content creator)
    • Every morning, I jump out of my bed, have my breakfast and start my work (maybe again in bed).

    What?

If the bed is in front of you then it is very hard to resist, Duh! However, that’s how I spend most of my time on the couch or bed. And that’s what happens to most WFH employees definitely.

Let me know in the comments section if you experience the same situation!

However, this routine has made us adopt a passive lifestyle. Although, I guess it also has a significant impact on our health as well.

Because after a considerable time span, I started to experience some health disorders. So when I visited my doctor for an expert consultation, I found that the root cause of all of my problems was the lack of physical exercise.

That’s why my doctor suggested I change a few things in my daily routine and make myself physically active. Voila! After following his advice I have recovered my health and my skin is glowing again.

So I felt that I should share my experience with my fellow WFH people. Here at “Wanttono”, I have enlisted the top 3 health hazards of a passive lifestyle that you can beat in a few weeks/ months by adding enough physical activity to your daily routine.

    1. Constant Bad Sleep:

Are you an addicted coffee drinker but still feel groggy throughout the day? It’s just because you’re not getting enough sleep. Why aren’t you getting enough sleep? Because you haven’t moved sufficient miles during the day.

You see, when you perform a rigorous physical activity then it makes you feel tired. In this way, your body starts sending signals to your brains that your muscles are fatigued. So in order to restore your muscle strength, your brain starts to relax your body. That ultimately results in natural and good sleep.

    2. Your Blood Pressure Is Always High:

High blood pressure is an ultimate “health warning”. Whether your doctor warned you about high blood pressure at your last check-up or you have diagnosed it yourself. You should take it as a serious warning.

Because it is a symptom of heart disease. And the best way to get it under control is to start exercising today.

According to Mayo Clinic,  “Becoming more active can lower your systolic blood pressure – the top number in a blood pressure reading.” So simply adding 30 minutes of regular exercise to your daily routine can help you avoid high blood pressure.

    3. Your Lower Back Is Always Hurting:

If you’re 20 and your lower back hurts like a 50-year-old lady then it is not a meme. Instead, it is an alarming sign that is crying out about your poor physical fitness.

Usually, your back starts constantly hurting when you spend a ton of time in bed and on the couch. After that, you may find yourself waking up with a stiff lower back on most mornings.

Recently, JAMA Internal Medicine analyzed the causes of the hurting lower back. In most surveys, they found that people who didn’t exercise regularly had the problem of constant lower back pain.

So even if you’re working from home or are an office-based professional, you have to find time for physical exercise regularly.

Conclusion: Physical exercise is essential for a healthy lifestyle. It helps you to improve your metabolism, immunity, and well-being. Most doctors suggest that you should take a particular amount of time out and perform a physical activity that can balance your muscle strength. So you can stay healthy and enjoy your life to its fullest potential.

    1. Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog.
Is it very hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure
things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to start.
Do you have any points or suggestions? Many thanks

      1. Just write about what you want, don’t think too much about it, and don’t copy others. it’s only with time you will get better. there’s no magic solution sorry. hope that helps.
